What is NeuroSomatics™?

NeuroSomatics™ is a body-led healing method created by Priya Jhajj. It brings together nervous system awareness, somatic work, energy work and the subconscious.

In a session, the practitioner follows what is happening in the client's body as it happens. You learn to notice it, help the client settle, and respond to what comes up, instead of following a script.

What's the difference?

How it compares with what you already know.

To be clear

What it's not about.

A weekend certificate

You do online modules first, practise with supervision, then get assessed.

Medical treatment or therapy

It is a complementary wellbeing practice.

A script

You learn a clear method, then how to respond to the person in front of you.

Learning alone

You train in a group of up to 8, taught by Priya herself.

What happens during a NeuroSomatics™ session?

Beyond the mind. Into the body.

We often try to think, talk or reason our way through what we're experiencing. But our bodies can respond to stress and emotion in ways that words alone don't always capture.

NeuroSomatics™ is a unique, body-led healing modality that brings together nervous system awareness, somatic practices, subconscious exploration and energetic work to support deeper connection with the body.

Rather than following a rigid script, practitioners learn to tune into each individual's nervous system, recognise subtle shifts and respond intuitively while working within a structured framework.

Every body has its own language.

During a NeuroSomatics™ session, clients are invited into a space where they can slow down, reconnect with their bodies and explore what arises.

As the session unfolds, they may experience:

  • Involuntary movement or shaking as the body responds to the experience.

  • Emotional expression, including tears, laughter or unexpected feelings.

  • Changes in breathing, temperature or physical sensations as awareness shifts throughout the body.

  • Vocal expression, such as sighing, sounds or spontaneous laughter.

  • Deep relaxation, stillness or rest as the nervous system settles.

  • Greater body awareness and emotional insight, helping clients reconnect with themselves.

No two sessions are the same. Some experiences are expressive and dynamic, while others are quiet and subtle.

There is no expectation to release, move or feel anything in particular. Every response is met with presence, compassion and respect for the individual's boundaries.

Practitioner training

The art of becoming a NeuroSomatics™ practitioner.

As a practitioner, you're not simply learning techniques.

You're developing the ability to observe, understand and respond to the body while creating an environment that supports safety, connection and self-exploration.

Through our practitioner training, you'll learn to:

01

Understand the nervous system

Recognise patterns of activation, regulation and grounding, and understand how they may influence a client's experience.

02

Assess & attune

Use the NeuroSomatics™ ALIGN framework to assess each client's presentation and adapt your approach to their individual needs.

03

Work with the body & energy

Integrate somatic awareness, energetic techniques and the NeuroSomatics™ approach to working with the cranial nerves.

04

Facilitate body-led experiences

Learn to recognise and respond to physical, emotional and energetic expressions without forcing or directing a particular outcome.

05

Hold space with confidence

Develop your own nervous system awareness, presence, professional boundaries and ability to support clients throughout their experience.

06

Support integration

Help clients reflect on their experience, reconnect with their bodies and explore how to carry greater awareness into everyday life.

Learn the method. Embody the work. Become the practitioner.

NeuroSomatics™ isn't about memorising a sequence of techniques.

It's about developing the knowledge, sensitivity and confidence to meet each client where they are.

And that begins with experiencing the work yourself.

Throughout your four-day immersive training, you'll receive NeuroSomatics™ sessions, practise facilitating them and receive direct guidance from founder Priya Jhajj.

Because before you can confidently hold space for others, you must first learn to connect with yourself.

What you'll get

What you learn, and what you leave with.

10
Before you arrive

10 online modules

The theory first: how the nervous system works, how emotion is held in the body, and the NeuroSomatics™ method. You finish these before you arrive, so the four days are for practice.

[Module outline to follow]
Surrey, BC

4 days in person

You receive sessions, learn the method step by step, and practise in pairs with feedback as you go. Surrey, BC.

A small group, taught by Priya

Up to 8 students, so Priya sees every one of you work.

Three case studies and a video assessment, then your certificate from Priya, a member of The CPD Certification Service. You get it for your skill, not for turning up.

Your first clients

Banking professional and NeuroSomatics™ practitioner

Kiran works in banking and trained as a NeuroSomatics™ practitioner. She now works with her own clients and has witnessed powerful emotional releases and breakthroughs in her sessions.

Sometimes someone sees something in you that you haven't quite recognised in yourself.

I remember having imposter syndrome, feelings of doubt and hesitation about becoming a practitioner.

Knowing that I can play a part in someone's healing journey fills my heart with so much gratitude.

BSc PsychologyOver a decade in the fieldReiki MasterTransformation coach

Priya has worked in healing and coaching for over ten years, as a Reiki Master and a transformation coach. She has a BSc in Psychology from Birmingham City University.

Her own path into this work started with her body. She lived with chronic pain for years and kept asking how the body, the nervous system and our emotions connect. [PRIYA TO APPROVE how much of her health story to share. Keep it factual. No claim that NeuroSomatics™ treats or heals any condition.]

She went on to train in Reiki, trauma-informed work, breathwork and other body and energy practices. After her son was born, she brought it all together as NeuroSomatics™.

She built this training for people who want to do this work properly,

with a clear method, solid ethics and the confidence to hold space for others. She keeps each group small so she can see every student.

Born and raised in England, she now lives in Vancouver and teaches in person in Canada and the UK. [OPTIONAL, PRIYA TO APPROVE: a line about being a South Asian mother and entrepreneur. NeuroSomatics™ is for everyone, so keep it a personal detail and not a requirement.]

Before you apply

Questions, answered.

No. You don't need to be a therapist, coach or healer. Complete beginners who feel called to this work are welcome. If you already practise Reiki, coaching, counselling, breathwork or something else, NeuroSomatics™ can sit alongside it. What matters most is your commitment to your own growth and your integrity.

Three parts: 10 online modules that you finish before you arrive; 4 days of in-person practice in Surrey, BC; and assessments afterwards (three case studies and a video).

Not straight away. You also need your online modules, three case studies and a video assessment. We give the certificate for skill, not attendance.

Priya is a member of The CPD Certification Service. CPD accreditation recognises the training as structured professional development. It is not a government-regulated healthcare qualification and does not guarantee insurance eligibility in every country.

That depends on where you live, your background and the insurer. Check that your services are covered before you take paid clients.

NeuroSomatics™ joins nervous system awareness, somatic work and energy work in one method, with a focus on the practitioner's own regulation and responsibility. See the comparison above.

Yes. You learn how to price your sessions and talk about your work. On day four you message your own network from the room, with Priya helping, and aim to book your first four clients before you leave. We can't guarantee bookings, but you leave with real next steps, not only a certificate. [CONFIRM with Priya how many April graduates left with four bookings. Use that figure only if she can stand behind it.]

It depends on where you live, your prices, demand and how you build your practice. See the examples above. They are hypothetical and not guaranteed.

Yes. Many practitioners start with a few sessions a week and grow from there. Others make it a full-time career.

You don't have to, but we recommend it. [Link to the live experience session once it exists. Until then: Priya can connect Canadian and UK applicants with a practitioner near them.]

No. It is body-based work and it can be intense. Some physical or mental health situations need extra care or a clearance first, and for some people it isn't suitable. Tell us about anything relevant in your application. NeuroSomatics™ is a complementary wellbeing practice and does not replace medical treatment, therapy or regulated healthcare.

Because this work needs care. The application and the chat let Priya understand why you want to do it, and let you decide whether it is right for you.
